Who benefits from open contracting? In this publication (research by Francois van Schalkwyk & Miko Cañares) on open contracting and inclusion, five cases were selected to explore the possible benefits of open contracting for marginalized communities. The analytical work features cases from Indonesia, Philippines, South Africa, Nigeria, and Kenya.

The Global Data Barometer is a multi-dimensional and multi-layered study that assessed the state of data for public good in 109 countries. The Barometer looks at data governance, capability, availability, and use and impact of data for public good. Miko is part of the Research Advisory Committee.

Energising Development (EnDev) is an international flagship programme for providing energy access. Using EnDev’s data, Miko leads a team of data analysts to deep dive into the data and uncover programmatic insights.
